WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Godby Hearth & Home is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in our warehouse by fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to Godby’s policies and procedures.

What’s in it for you?

This position will pay $16-$18 per hour, depending on experience.
You will work from 7:30am to 4pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday (Hours are Flexible). There will be some weekends available during the busy season for overtime.

What would you do if hired?

Prepare and stage daily installation schedules.
Assist with loading and unloading of company fleet vehicles from the warehouse.
Organize and restock products in the warehouse.
Perform inventory counts of all supplies and products in the warehouse.
Receive and inspect delivery of products from suppliers.
Delivery of product to jobsites as needed.
Maintain warehouse in an orderly, safe, and clean manner including trash removal.

What you will need:

This job also requires that you be able to lift 75+ lbs. individually, and in some cases over 200 lbs. lifting as a team.
A strong attention to details and solid time management skills to prioritize project deadlines.
General mechanical aptitude required. This includes using multiple power and hand tools proficiently.
General understanding of construction industry
Operate a forklift or ability to learn how to operate a forklift
Effective written and oral communication.
An ability to use critical thinking for resolutions of jobsite installations.
Valid driver’s license – no DUI in background check (insurance requirement).
